Torrential rain floods HCM City

VietNamNet Bridge - Heavy downpours, which started at 13.30 on March 7 and lasted for nearly 2 hours, flooded major streets and roads in Ho Chi Minh City, causing traffic chaos at intersections and roundabouts.

Severe flooding was reported in Binh Thanh district, with many places on Xo Viet Nghe Tinh, Nguyen Huu Canh, Dinh Tien Hoang, Ngo Tat To and Huynh Tinh Cua streets between 0.3-0.5m under water.

The big rainfall of between 40-80mm submerged a section of road in front of The Manor high-rise building, causing hundreds of motorbikes to break down. Many hamlets in Binh Thanh district and districts No3, 4 and 7 were inundated, affecting local people’s daily lives.

The flooding also brought the traffic on major roads to a standstill. Many trucks and cars were lined up along Nguyen Huu Canh road, running at a snail’s pace.

Floodwaters receded nearly an hour after sewage workers discharged manhole gates and traffic returned to normal.

Think this rain was overdue because it is so hot in HCM around 33C.

Bro adidas, glad you enjoyed the salon, it's also my fav salon in HCM. Its a must visit for me each time.. so too for Lion City cafe, do you noticed that the waitress wears SQ uniforms? hehehe....many hotel;s around that area but i think you will not go for standard rooms unless on budget, usually those nicer rooms/suite with balcony/jacuzzi cost about 70-90 US$.

Yupe tis one got many syt waitresses serving but food wise I still prefer the next door Nam Bo, 546 CMT8, Q3 ... which is also similarly large restaurant minus the syt. But tis place, u got to bring along ur GF coz the menu is in Tieng Viet.

Another option u can try (if need be) is Hoang Hai Long Hotel, 52B-62-64, Pham Hong Thai St, Ben Thanh Ward, D1 (near Ben Thanh market) ... you can check out their website hoanghailonghotel.com. I visited my fren's room when he came for Christmas ... not bad.

According there are 3 such coffee shops with syts in mini skirts. The food at 542 Cach Mang Thang Tam D.10 is alright and reasonably priced. Can u believe this shop have a nightly turnover of S$10k+. Any brothers keen to open one together? Maybe we can have our girl waitresses in transparent undies. Cannot have them go bare or they might caught a cold down there.

I just tell the taxi driver to go to CMT8 and I just follow the shop number until I reach 542. I think should be Quan 10. It's a big coffee shop 3 storeys and the food is similar to our zhi char in coffeeshops. U must try their grilled fish only cost 100,000vnd and 6 of us just managed to finish eating it. (Big Fish) :)

Dear Bros here,

I am in HCMC for 2 nites starting today staying at Legend Hotel.

Can any kind soul offers some tips and direction for good clubbing and pick up at nite. Also any good place for good massage with syt.

What can i do in the day time? massage?

Advice much appreciated.

If small KTVs better stick to beer. Fake liquor will make ur did soft in long term. :p 580,000 VND is like duty free price liao.
