Pain inside the penis (right side) when peeing.

Hi all bros, need some help here. I not sure if I kena bladder stone or kidney stone or something along that line. Yesterday, I woke up with a sharp pain inside my penis. I slept at 3am (during this time, I went to pee, no pain) and woke up at about 7.30am with the pain. I quickly went to the toilet to pee, indeed there was sharp pain!

It's like an ulcer or something is stuck inside my ureatha, but the pain is only on the right side of my penis somewhere near the base but still on the penis itself.

At first my mind ran well, thinking it was STD or something. So I quickly rush down to CGH. Paid the basic package during registration which cost $85. So expensive. Must pay even before seeing the nurse or doctor! So I paid already, the nurse took my blood pressure, say everything normal.

Then after awhile, doctor saw me. I described to him the pain, he pressed my tummy area and ask if theres any pain. And then directed me to take a urine test and x-ray (standard in the $85 package).

The urine test came back normal, he said no UTI no infection or anything. He said the x-ray didn't show any stones or anything, but a high amount of gas inside my tummy. So he asked if I am suffering from constipation lately. I told him no, but when I shit, it's like lesser than usual the amount.

I also told him about my test at DSC and that everything was normal. I also told him about my supposed prostatitis but he ruled that out. He didn't seem very helpful and was a little angry when talking to me. Just because I asked some questions. He said the x-ray and urine test says it's not UTI or stones or infection of any sort. He then suggest that maybe I should go back to DSC and run another test to see if it's undetected STD during my first time check previously.

He prescribed me some muscle relaxant and also suggest some medications to help with bowel movement, but I only asked for the muscle relaxant for my nerves pain. Because previously at a polyclinic, the doctor already gave me some vitamin B complex for my nerves pain.

I walked out of the hospital feeling lost. I paid $85 plus morning peak hour cab fare and in the end, nothing. I did told the doctor I'm feeling physical pain right now but he said in his area, he is done (cant remember exactly, something along this line). He said he cannot tell why there is pain except linking it to my stomach gas (which I dun see the link).

So I cabbed down to DSC for a further check. They did a gram stain for me. Ask me hold my urine for about 2 hours and insert a stick into my penis. The test came back negative. No NGU, no infection no bacteria. The doctor also told me the first test is usually accurate enough, he don't think it's STD. I told him about my prostatitis also and he did a rectum examination. He said my prostates are fine and not swollen.

He was very nice and advised me to see a urologist. He said only a urologist can help me since DSC is only specialising in STDs.

By that time, it was afternoon and the pain was gone. It's only painful when I urine. Like when the urine passes through at the start, it's painful, but in the process of peeing, it isn't. If I sit down on a toilet bowl and pee, the pain is lesser. It's only when I stand up and pee, then I feel the sharp pain.

I spent $100+ in a day excluding cab fares and my problem went unsolved. I really don't know what is it.

I thought about the stomach gas and thought to myself maybe it's heatiness. Because when I woke up with the pain, I slept at 3am and woke up at 7.30am for work. So I thought maybe its due to lack of sleep? Is it possible? Could toxic (the excess gas) in the body cause pain in the penis?

I thought the pain will be gone the next day but today the pain is still there. I am not sure if it's inflammation because why will my penis get inflammed for no reasons? Also, I finished a course of antibiotics just last week so I don't think I will get inflammation that fast?

Btw, could over-masturbation cause this? I masturbate once in the morning on Tuesday, and once in the afternoon on the same day. Then I masturbate once on wednesday night and that's when I woke up on thursday morning with the pain...

Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks...

Re: Pain inside the penis (right side) when peeing.

Bro if u have done ur check ups at DSC, and results r normal; u should be fine. Sometimes it's due to heatiness and lack of water in take that causes pain in the penis while peeing.
We might sometimes thought that we had enough water intake for the day but in actual fact we didn't. I did many times experienced this, after several days of continuous of taking plenty of water. The condition will actually subcide and go back to normal.
Just try this first and monitor for few days, if no improvement; then u go DSC again and opt for a full screening instead.
Hope this helps.

Did you overwork your penis? When is your last sex/ mast sometimes you over work this may happen. But the pain will subsize in a few days.

Yes... I think monitor for a few days first. Could be due to heatiness and toxic.

I usually masturbate once a day. But lately, I sometimes masturbate up to three times in a day. So not sure also... But i always thought masturbation isn't harmful...

could be some veins tear inside the penis area.

I got a friend who twisted his cock when the gal sat on top of him and he got the pain for a couple of days.

Rest for few days and will be gone.

Take care.......dunn think too much :)

masterbed 3 times a day will really harm both u and your penis. Do give your penis a good holiday.

I seldom post in this section but when I read your post, I cannot tahan your reaction to the whole thing and your half-baked storyline!!!

From DSC to Polyclinic to CGH and back to DSC!.......Despite all the treatments and evaluation that there's nothing major, you still remain unconvinced. I think your should go for a "No intention-to-treat analysis" @ SGH Urology Centre @ Blk 2 L1 la. :o:rolleyes::(

Bro........most likely u have some minor abrasion in ur urethral mucosa........so when ur urine comes out and touches the affected part it burns............the abrasions are not necessarily from STD always..............they can be caused by mechanical causes too..........like some abnormal stretching during masturbation or while sleeping.................so since u have checked ur STD status u dont need to worry............just wait for some time till the part is healed..............the pain would subside automatically...........it takes 5-7days for a mucosa to heal properly.......bt the pain should subside within 3-4days..............just dont strain the tool much in these days!.............say if the pain persists abnormally more than 5-7days then only u should consider to visit an urologist.............dont worry and be happy that at least u dont have STD at the moment......!!.............may god heal u soon!

I woke up with the pain there and was so worried. They did x-ray my torso area and found nothing. But DSC doctor said actually in order to detect stones, need a more focused x-ray, not the standard kind.

Bro, it's not that I'm not convinced I dont have STD. I thought everything was ok but woke up with a sharp pain for no reasons, how not to worry? One doctor said I have prostatitis, I thought take medicines settled, then felt nerve pain all over my body, go polyclinic, doctor gave vitamins for nerve. then woke up with a sharp pain, go hospital, hospital tell me their job is done, if i am afraid is STD, can go DSC to ensure its nothing. Both DSC and hospital said no prostatitis. I'm as confused as anyone else.
