The "Too good to be true" syndrome

Dudes...

I'm not sure if you suffer from this but I've been told by many lady friends who had the potential to be my FB that I suffer from the "Too Good To Be True" syndrome.

Basically, what it is is that;
  1. I look attractive enough
  2. I can afford the finer things in life
  3. I'm quite articulate and can hold a conversation well
  4. I'm available most of the time
  5. I'm too nice a guy

Do you guys suffer from that too which is why it's not as easy to find a friend with benefits of the opposite sex?

Just thought I'd rant here about the dilemma that I'm facing.

Any thoughts?

Agreed. Sometimes being too good a guy diminishes all our attractiveness..
Good guys dont prosper..

So let's decipher what was written here.

1) Adequate genes
2) Rich
3) Educated
4) Does nothing for a living
5) Generous with women

Sorry what was the problem again? :)

1) Adequate genes - Yes
2) Rich - Not filthy rich but can afford a couple of conti rides.
3) Educated - Yes
4) Does nothing for a living - Works hard but also makes time to play hard
5) Generous with women - Yes

The problem is that women tend to think that it's too good to be true! :P

you lack the confidence and definitely not driven despite having all that you listed. strange
The question is redundant if you are confident and driven

Because you're like a village bicycle any lady can ride..
sometimes you have to be exclusive than people will want mah..you know like luxury goods.

that's why nice guys finish last.. they're too easy to get...
So play hard to get abit then at least you get them hooked on the bait!

That's good advice actually. Though I find it difficult to do that haha!

Anyway, I was just wondering if other SBF bros face the same or similar issues. :)

There is no such thing as "Too Good to be True" when it comes to having a FB. A FB doesn't need commitment. If they really said that, you should be trying harder to get in their pants rather than to come here.

All the things you stated is only applicable as to why you are still unattached.....which could simply be a lifestyle choice, since you are getting all the sex you want commercially.

P.S: I don't have a conti ride, but I have 2 current FBs whom I contact on and off for a good time. All you need is to be a a fun and nice guy and make no empty promises.
