Should tell gf about FL past?
 

I lost my virginity to FL and have visited a few over the last few years. So far, I have not kena STDs. Now I have met someone I really like. If I were to get a gf, should I tell her I have visited FLs when the topic of sex comes? Or lie that I am a virgin still. I have not been in any relationships. Also, I will want to get her to do vaccine like HPV just in case I have but no symptoms. But I don't know how to start the topic.

Telling your gf about your FL Past is like your gf telling you she might have sex with 50+ other people before / was a social escort providing sexual services. Don't exactly feel that good right?

My 2-cents is, it does little to push your relationship in a correct direction and might even assist you in ending the relationship.

If you really so afraid, go do a full body checkup. Asking to her to take the vaccine is kinda implying you afraid she will spread disease to you since you are a "virgin". You might have to spin up some well made story for her to take the vaccine on the account that you are not a "virgin" and you had sex with a girl from the past who you heard rumors that she have XXX virus.

IF you are so affected about your FL finding days and would wish to come clean to your soon to be gf, just be prepared she might not be understanding about it and ask you to fuck off.

If it bothers you that much tell her, just be aware it may completely change how she feels towards you.

Thank you bros for your advice. I am leaning more towards not telling her since it is the past and I know I am clean (Did urine and blood test recently but did not test for HPV since no warts). I also realised you guys are right that I would not want to know about my partner's past. Though she is probably a virgin in the current case.

I think even if she accepts me for my past, she would be rightly suspicious about what I do in the future since I have done it before. Probably better to keep Pandora's box closed.

I can't say I have ex-gf because eventually she will ask more about it or if it comes up in conversation with my other friends then hong gan liao. All my friends think I am virgin since I didn't tell anybody about FL so got nobody to cover for me.

I am only worried about HPV since I read that it can cause cancer for women. I have a friend who got the vaccine even though don't have partner just to be safe so maybe I can just bring it up without too much suspicion.

never ever tell gf or wife about such past. yes you might think you are just being honest or your gf/wife will accept it as it is. Boy you are going to be sooooo wrong! They will just keep thinking about it and never ever forget it. She is very likely to bring it up everytime when the 2 of you quarrel. Such secrets can only be brought with you to the grave.
regarding HPV vaccine. If she doesnt want to take it, you can go for HPV vaccine too. Its not only available for females, just that males wont enjoy any subsidy for it.

Instead of asking your gf to take HPV (it her choice) why don't you just go for a full detailed HIV check up if you're think she's the one?

If HPV has no symptoms, how would she know that you don't already have it? It would be a good idea for her to consider taking it, subject to professional medical approval. In fact, guys can and should consider getting it as well.

In recent years in Singapore, a majority of female teenagers opt-in for the HPV vaccine through their schools (https://www.straitstimes.com/singapo...-each-year-moh).
