I know of 1 "Sugar Beat" but it is not at Don Mueng.. Its at Prachacheon.. quite near The Mall Ngam Wong Wang.... and the "Sugar Beat" I know is not a disco, but a restuarant cum live band pub... used to be very popular with the locals. Along the stretch of road, there're some other restuarants and beside "Sugar Beat" there's another live band, pub cum restuarant call "Palm Spring" which also has a small "disco" upstairs... popular with the locals too... but patrons there don't dressed up as well as patrons in popular bkk discos.
I think this place is quite out of place for "tourists"....
Unless u come here for the exhibitions and stay near Impact Arena....
if u come out from the road, turn left, all the way pass Ngam Wong Wang, and pass by "Sports City", there's a restuarant nearby call "Ruk Eh" (English call Oh Love)... nice live (acoustic) band and alot of good looking patrons.. ever saw Thai stars dined there too... further down the road, u'll reach "Cheang Wattana" which can bring u to Impact Arena (Exhibition Hall).
