It's business as usual for tourists. I went to the gathering near mbk and central world. It is more like a concert than protest gathering. However I still recommend practice of cautious when you go bkk. The blocked road are manned by Thai opposition supporter. They check your bag just like what security guard in mall does. And most mall closed at 1900 when more protester gather in fear of looters.
