I guess every foreign visitor (Hongkongers inclusive) that goes CP for recreational purposes wants as little trouble as possible. Most important thing to the visitors is enjoyment. The police and the 'police' knows about this and it gives them the opportunity to make some quick money out of this.

I think things like this happens everyday in China in one way or another. If you have to go to HK/SZ/GZ because you can't change your air ticket (just like myself), it doesn't mean that you have to go to CP. Just make additional efforts to contact your previous bonks and arrange to meet them in SZ or GZ. If you don't have any contacts for previous bonks, you can try contacting the mummies or agents. Of course, I wouldn't contact an agent who is too high profile here. God knows, if the agent gets caught, I might be implicated as well. Remember, having an air ticket to HK/SZ/GZ DOES NOT mean that you have to party and stay in CP!

I am heading down to CP tomorrow with my friends. And yes, for the same reasons that many would have here, we cannot cancel our trip. Through my friend's contact (an agent in CP), our 4 nights SZ/GZ trip has been planned. Initially I was quite against this as non of us is familiar with SZ and GZ. However, after reading the email that my friend forwarded to me on the itinerary, I decided to give it a try.

Below is an extract of the itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in GZ
- Proceed to CP for lunch and mm selection
- Footie, DVD shopping, cut hair, shopping
- Viewing of selected mm and confirmation
- Proceed to SZ, check in hotel and dinner
- Family ktv

Day 2: SZ to CP
- Lunch in CP follow by second selection of mm for our trip to a hotspring villa in GZ (advised by agent if possible, find someone comfortable-ex bonk/kc, as will be spending 2 days at the hot spring villa)
- Proceed to villa in GZ. Was told that this villa has got a private hot spring pool, 7 bedrooms, 1 pool table, 1 MJ table, 1 BBQ pit and 1 private ktv room!
- Dinner in GZ follow by private KTV session in villa and hotspring.

Day 3: GZ
- Lunch (farm setting restaurant)
- Visiting places of interest around the villa. 'Look mountain look sea'/shopping for BBQ food (dinner)/hotspring
- BBQ dinner
- KTV

Day 4: GZ to CP to SZ
- Early lunch in GZ and back to CP to offload the mm and pick new ones
- Footie
- CP to SZ
- Dinner follow by clubbing

Days 5: SZ
- Lunch follow by spa / shopping
- Dinner & home sweet home

Throughout these 5 days, we have requested that the agent to follow us through as we are not familiar with SZ and GZ. We have also make request for the agent to have our BBQ food and our beers prepared.

All in all, we just want to enjoy ourselves and have as little problem/trouble as possible. By moving our party places away from Dongguan, my friends and I felt that we will enjoy oursleves more. We can be sure that the chances of police knocking on our doors (both hotel & ktv) will be reduced to the minimum. I wouldn't want to be singing and hugging a girl while constantly looking at the door worrying that the police might step in.

And of course, if you think that all these police knocking on doors and checking are not real or you believe that you will not be that unlucky or you are mentally prepared for the consequences, I am sure CP welcomes you!
Wah....a lot of travelling man. By car or by train,

- GZ to CP or back will need 1.5 to 2hrs.
- CP to SZ estimated 45mins.
- Assuming it is at Luohu SZ to GZ via train is another another 2hrs.
- Including misc travelling....a lot of time is gonna wasted on travelling man.
