we SENIORS who had spent so much time and money going to cheap places in HCM do not want foreigners to spoil our market...once they are exposed then these places will be same as what is famous and reported and soon will be raided and closed...personally had brought many frens to enjoy at these local cheap places...but holding their hands not to spoil market prices...

I couldnt share much about HCM, u r right coz every trip I go usually to meet my gf there. Nothing to share. Unless a few times to HBT. I am amazed with some who can write interesting FR that will urge people to read on. i juz cant write for nutz. However, I did shared some on Seoul and Manila sometime ago. I rode ard in HCMC and even as far as to Vung Tau I am pretty familar with the roads.Juz tat no other info and chance for me to explore further. However, its great to know their culture and their local food which I tasted esp in love with the roadside stalls and such... I would eat their BBQ chilli crab pincer and Uc. And after 2yrs of hardwork, I managed to pick up the language and can converse in a simple conversation. I love Vietnam. Thats all I can say...
It can be frustrating that newbies asking questions. Unless those has been answered before, no question I thk is too silly to ask. Of coz everyone can choose to answer or not to...
But tis time I will go alone as my gf already married. Perhaps I would like visit some of these joints u guys mentioned. As for FR, can expect a crappy one...
