I guess condo is more for expats and foreigners. You are rite, landed is more prefered by them. Hope the value goes up more. :P
i know a female friend who just bought a condo in Pham Vit Chan (not sure about the spelling) that cost her US$50,000 for a 600 sq ft 2 bedroom unit, kind of ex isn't it?

i have a local friend who bought a piece of land outside the city 2 years back, and is now worth 2.5 times what he paid for it then.

so i guess the locals are right in investing on landed property...

but generally, property price here is crazy. much much more then, say, KL.
