LOL - No, No, I fully agree with what you say..... and of course actually considering right now when and if I will go down to Vietnam myself!
And talk about Travel advisories....and how screwed up Hong Kong's is.
They actually put the whole of the Philippines on the Black (avoid all travel) alert (alongside the really troubled Syria and Egypt) just because of the tour bus killing of the Hong Kong tourists there three years ago. Kept this black travel alert on for years and only removed it the day after the Filipino offer of compensation and apology was finally accepted!
And now they've got Red alerts (Adjust travel plans, Avoid non-essential travels) on Lebanon, Thailand (updated 7/6/2014) and Vietnam (20/5/2014).
