re taxi fare, I don't bother ...mostly 220 plus from Makati Ave/P Burgos area ..

I normally round to 300 or 350, which is a fraction of what we pay in SG

now if the driver insist like 50 or 100 on meter, I pay exactly meter plus agreed top up, not a peso more

.

I learnt to always save change peso on every trip ....
