Google translate is okay. But try not to translate whole sentence. Try to break down word by word.

If you know how to type in Chinese and English, you can input what u want to say in 2 language and see what appear. If similar meant translate correctly.

Lastly before you sent out what been translated, try to traslate the sentence back to Chinese or English and see it make any sense.

Best translator is yourself, learn to depend less on translator if you want to learn.
