Thanks to the Bros there for sharing the info in VN.

Especially where to get the best rate for currency exchange. Nothing much on my virgin solo trip but here's my FR.

Day 1
Almost miss my flight due to unforeseen circumstances. Was told that the check in counter was closed when I still had 50mins before flight departure. The Jetstar staff still can 'yaya papaya' told me I was late. To cut unhappiness short, I managed to get myself check in. Change SGD 100 into VND 1,500,000 at Changing Airport which I know was a super lousy rate. Was scolded by my kc when I told her about it.

Reached Tan Son Nhat International Airport 15mins ahead of schedule. Guess the weather was pretty good that day. Bought a SIM card from the mobifone counter. Took the VND 290,000 package to be safe. If you just need data and won't be making much calls, there's the VND 190,000 package. Took a metered taxi, Vinasun, as recommended by the brothers here. Reach A&EM hotel in Benh Thanh Market area. Meter fare was about VND 200,000.

After checking in, decided to head to Benh Thanh Market to check out the food. Guess I stand out from the crowd because of my size, once I step out of the hotel, 1 pimp started to follow me and pulling me to see his stables of gals. I can say he was a super patient man and could speak pretty well Chinese. Pestered me for 2 hours. From the time I stepped out of hotel and returned. Quoted USD 40 for ST(1hr) USD 120(overnight).

Since not in the mood to do anything, decided to sleep early and wait for kc to come tomorrow morning.
