Just a FR / seeking some guidance

Been to BKK many times and last night was the first I went to a g-club.

Did my due research by reading online reviews, finally decided to go to big Apple since I stay in ratchadspisek and it was somewhere along my budget.

Expected Costs
Member 3 btl red label = 6000
Ladies DRINK = about 250baht / 45mins
Mixer to be charged separately
Last minute additions such as tax or service charge

Reached there at 12, left at 3.30am.

-Bought 2 LDs and 2 tequilas
-Rejected the fruits served to us which was supposedly 250b

Total expected bill was about 8k?

Actual bill came up to be 11k.

As it was my first time there, I made a point to stay perfectly sober and asked for the price of everything I could beforehand. Moment the bill arrived, I requested for the mamasan to come over.

Breakdown was explained as follows:-

LD = 320
The ladies drink that we ordered (which came flaming in a shot gls) was actually equivalent to 2 LD = 640.
LD is prorated into bill counting time the moment you step into club and introduced a girl. For my firend this was 2200b+, about 6LD equivalent.
Additional 1000b+ for staying past their official 3am closing time.

This is what I could understand from the minimal thai I spoke. Didn't appear aggressive at all and just made it clear that I am willing to pay as long as I knew what I was paying for. The mamasan offered to cancel our flaming LD since I didn't know any better.

On hindsight 11k baht wasn't an overly steep price to pay IF it is compared to services/quality in a sg td. Put the cost premium above expectations down more to language / modus operandi differences than scam / con.
