I was about to describe how America propped up Marcos with billions in Aid, supposedly to protect the Philippines from communism but most of the money went to Marcos own bank accounts ..
still Marcos wasn't satisfied or able to satisfy his wife's klepto craving to buy and buy things.
And looting the national coffers left the country broke by over 10 billion $ when they were thrown out.
and Cory, dutifully ensured all spurious deals of Marcos including the 2 billion $ white elephant bataan nuclear power plant which Westinghouse admitted included a 300 million $ commission, was all paid in full.
you can never figure out why she did all that, when supposedly she was brought in to save the country
And you can never figure out why Filipinos still forgive Marcos family and voted in BBM as senator, Imelda as congresswoman and Immee as governor .. and can consider BBM for president soon...
And never discuss politics with Filipinos especially when they are drunk
