Back when they were by the airport, I did try the one called Lan Y on Cuu Long. But you're right, I didn't get to know the mamasan so well that they contacted me when they moved. Actually I had no real relationship with the mamasan at all. It was just the girls there when I went in, as far as I could see. Before that visit I did go there once and did not see one I wanted to go with. The one in the hem I stopped in a couple times, and was frustrated. Basically they all stood on the stairs and I didn't see one I felt the desire to go with. Actually there were some that looked hotter who appeared briefly and then disappeared upstairs somewhere, one or 2 floors up. I went back another time and the same thing happened, they just couldn't do a proper lineup in that place. I would be willing to give it another chance though. I mean these Korean salons, obviously the ones in Cuu Long are long gone. Back then it was 800. I wouldn't want to go too much higher than that, and I really don't dig when they can't just show the girls, cuz that is supposedly the main advantage of that kind of place that's why you pay 800 or 1.2 million rather than 500 or so on websites, so you can see the goods. In person I'm well dressed, clean, well shaven, not exactly handsome but not ugly, but I am white, and I have a feeling that's part of the problem, there's some girls who just want to do Koreans or Asians. I guess. And for me, my standards are a problem, if I get inside the place and am asked to choose but there's not one there I wanna go with, that's a problem, cuz now I am expected go and pay for a girl I'm not that into. On my 2nd Lan Y visit, that's basically what I did. I took a girl who was semi-attractive to me, just to try it. And as I expected, it was just a so so experience. I prefer the way they do it in Thailand where there isn't the pressure on the customer to have to choose, you can choose or not choose, it's up to you, that walking in the door doesn't mean you are expected to buy, and not buying isn't this big problem in their eyes the way it is here. Thinking of fish bowls and go-gos in Thailand. And that was a thing I loved about the HBT bars, they didn't expect you to take a girl out on every visit, you could test drive a bit in the bar and just a proper tip made it all ok to everyone involved.
