I agree. Think very carefully before you sign on the dotted line of a marriage certificate.

Just for information, I know for a fact that in Australia the application for a marriage certificate cost about $60 whereas the simplest and cheapest divorce application that has no asset division lodged at the family court costs at least 10 times more.

I'm sure it is similar anywhere else.
