I have been to PH twice for clean leisure and have a bit of experience/understanding of manila in general, yes my radar was always on full alert when I was trying to get around from manila to provinces.

1) This time I'll be there for an event, I may patron down to makati as I heard P burgos offer better rates for nightlife and equally same enjoyment, but will overall I would have to be back in Pasay for most/all of the trip.

2) I have read from various sources that if I should prepare 1k SGD for my trip duration if I am wish to hang around EDSA/P burgos. Should be no issue, was just wondering how much cash on hand would be safe and sufficient to bring out during the night?

3) Haha, unfortunately, yes I might have to do that, unless I manage to get some off-pass/excuse to travel away from manila area as the event will be the main reason me and my friend will be there during the day.

Thanks bro etsys for highlighting areas outside of Manila, I have also heard of the wonders in Angeles City but its too out of the way for this trip.

Dont think I'll be doing wechat/freelance, read that its mainly for experienced bros and risky. I understand now that bars normally regulate the girls, so the risk of getting the bargirls collaborating with the police for scams on tourists are lower. However will continue to read up and learn more until my trip.

Had my fair share of hustlers trying to get tips from me by flagging taxi for me, and child beggars hugging me tightly. Will look out for those again...

Bro etsys, in regards to getting drivers or for the least, taxi transport from NAIA to hotels around MOA, what's the fair rate (quoted price) to accept or ,the contacts or prices for drivers for rent?
