U got that rite bros. well below is roughly a collection of why bros hang flower.
1. Enjoyment, singer sing well, look pretty, or my favourate song, i hang flower as encouragement.
2. I like the singers company, so i dont mind hanging flower so the singer has an excuse to keep me company. Please note if you hang flower they have a reason to sit at your table, when there is a spot check they can always say, they are there to THANK you for your flower. According to their work permit they are not allowed to sit with customer, this is the only loop hole. So please dont be an ass like some bros and DEMAND the singer to sit with them.
3. Have alot of money to spend dont know where to spend it. (hahahaha.. i still lafing at this one.. but they its a valid answer)
4. Has alot of ENT budget, and know the singer so use it to cash out. The singer hits the quota for flower, and she in turn pays you a sum of the flower money after she gets her share. Used to know a bro who does this, hang 10K flower, claim ENT. Singer gets a 80-20 split, so she gets back 8K, she then shares with the bro 4K each. win win situation... ok the company loses hahaha.
5. ROBERT aka "chai tau" aka "pigs to be slaughtered". This is the case of the singer looking nice and pretty, and you think you can catch the singer. you hang flower after flower to get the singer attention, and the singer pays you some attention which you think is love. then she will tell you.. i never hit quota lah need to top up or have problem... father die for the 3rd time, need to go back to china... no other customer hard to live in singapore lah... all those excuse. then ask you to hang more or pay for her rental or give her money. U will have to judge for yourself if you like being a Robert or not for this... no comment.
and to answer the question of Bro OMEGA3..... a singer should know what she is expected to do when she comes over.
1. Perform on stage.
2. Earn money from performance.
how she does the Earn money from performance is rather dodgy. If she ends up with some TEKO agent (mostly male and one fat female agent) then they would be forced to perform sexual acts with the customers or in the event of the male agent.. with them. I know a singer that was forced to sleep with the male agent because the male agent dumped her in a slump with no customer and she cant pay her agent fees. And in the event of the fat female agent, she forced her singer to sell herself to get money to pay her agent fees.
by no means is she obligated to sleep with the customer. but then some singers sleep with the customer so they can get more flower. TO be able to not sleep with customer and still get flower she has to be well trained.. i.e. there is this Taiwan singer in LV that can give out 1000000 Volts with her eyes... hahah almost killed the bro that was with me at LV... or you must know how to play mind games well with customer. But then there are some place like "club Pheonix" whereby the singer is obligated to sleep with the customer if the customer hangs a certain amount of flower (dont bother rushing down to this place though.....its cheaper to go for FL).
