For me, it is not I want to keep them away from new place... I am just too lazy to tell them. A lot of samsters, even u tell them the name of the new joint, they will ask, what is the address, how far from here n there, taxi how much, whether near train station and all sort of crazy and lazy questions.
A lot pm me, asking me this n that. After I provided them the info, not even a thank u or appreciation. So out of 10, I will ignore 9. I do not provide a call center service.

Yes! A lot like to ask for infos as if we are the ambassadors of Bangkok. Then not even a "ok" or thanks! Not that I mind but after frequent incidents like this make me feel really " what they took me as?" Lol
So those on my wechat , please hor if u do ask me something which I can offer some decent reply, please at least reply a "thanks" at the end of the conversation. Lol. I just woke up and had a "friend" from here asked me about duty free stuff from SG -KL-BKK and if he's allowed to buy from SG. After explaining to him, there was no response. Lol. I only met him once more than 6 months ago and also he asked me for help to rebook his flight back to SG as he earlier missed his flight in the evening. Lol. Also expected my help without appreciation. Lol.
