My Relationship With a BKK Bargirl - A Trap?
This is a true story on my "relationship" with a Bangkok Bargirl. Some info on me: 34, Chinese, average looking bro, 1.75m, skinny fat, CBD job, live in HDB and sadly divorced about 2 years ago.

Now I go to Bangkok quite often for work and relaxation. Sometimes for play and cheonging but most times just a quick trip to makan, get clean massage and relax and some cheap shopping. I've been to all the red light spots and am actually recognized at some spots as regular with my fellow bros. I can speak basic Thai and have dated a couple Thai girls in Singapore who were working at Thai disco. So by no means am I a noob when it comes to BKK. I know all the pitfalls and hookers are hookers even if they make you feel special.

About a year ago, one of my bros, Tan, wanted to check out the scene in BKK. He has never been so i invited a another bro, Lee, and the three of us went on our merry way for a 7 day trip to Bangkok. In BKK, I always stay in the Sukhumvit area just for convenience. If you want to shop then Pratunam is a good spot but I like the convenience of being near the BTS and all the "play" spots that you can work too. Always stay near where you will spend your nights rather than your days.

Anyway, over three nights we showed him all the hot spots at Nana, Patpong and of course Soi Cowboy. Tan was enamored with Soi Cowboy altho to me nowadays the costs here are much higher and too many farangs. White guys and Japs are everywhere and it's annoying. Thai girls love white guys cos they want to get married to them and live in a new country and Japs overpay like crazy for these girls. For us Singaporeans, we are the 3rd choice if you're lucky or if you flash the cash.

I also took him to two of my favorite spots - scratch dog and Thermae bar. Scratch Dog is a good after-hours bar which fills up with FLs and bar girls who don't get fined. Thermae is a low key with cheaper FLs and if you don't like girls bothering you every 5 seconds, good place to go. Just have a drink, see girls who are lined up, pick one and ciao.

During the days, we makan at local spots, went to different massage spots - clean and dirty and just chilled. After the three nights, Tan just wanted to go to one Soi Cowboy and specifically just one bar where he was smitten with one girl.

Anyway we made this our go to spot and even made friends with the bouncer and mamasan. This would be our home for the next four days and this is where I saw her.
