And the alcove lighted up with her radiance. She smiled at me and said "Hi". Not wanting to lose any opportunity, I plucked up my courage and introduced myself.

Me: Hi neighbor, I'm P from Singapore. Here on vacation?
Angel: oh no, I'm here on business trip for 3 days. Nice to meet you.
Me: me too! But I'm staying here for 2 weeks. Alone?
Angel: my friend is joining me tomorrow.

My heart sank. There goes my alone time with her, but man proposes and heaven disposes. We can't defeat fate!

Me: have you eaten? Perhaps we can have dinner together?
Angel: sure! Let's meet at the lobby in 30mins, okay? I know of a nice place nearby.
Me: sounds great! See you in 30 mins!

My heart was pulsating out of my chest! I'm going on a dinner date with such a beautiful woman! What have I done to deserve this? So I quickly bathe, brushed my teeth, shaved and put on some nice clothes.

30 mins later, she too had changed into a cute black short dress, showing off her silky legs. She tied up her hair and looked absolutely sweet and demure.

We walked to a nice local restaurant 10 mins away. Due to her job nature, she comes to this city often and knows the place like the back of her hands. Oh, those smooth sleek fingers. Anyway, it was a joy just listening to her talk and introduce the city to me. It was my virgin trip there though.

After dinner, we took a stroll around the neighborhood and did some window shopping. Realized that we get along very well. Like best friends, she asked me for comments as she tried on clothes and shoes. We were in our own little world. A few times, she came really close and I could smell her mesmerizing scent. Made my heart fluttered. I almost wanted to hold her hands a few times but held back as a gentleman. Happy time passed too fast and soon we were back at the hotel, at the doors to our rooms. Should I kiss her goodnight? Will she ask me into her room? Should I gently pull her to my room! I guess the night was so gentle that we were very cordial with each other.

Angel: my friend and I are going sight seeing tomorrow night and going for some drinks. Wanna join us?
Me: I'll be honored! What time shall we meet?
Angel: see you at the lobby at 7pm. I'll introduce a beauty to you! Good night!

And we went back to our own room. The feeling is mixed. My Angel is just few metres next door and here I am fantasizing about her and tomorrow night. So near yet so far. Yes, I can't sleep at all. Maybe because of jet lag but definitely thinking of her. How I wish tomorrow comes faster!
