Just want to add something regarding the appearance of the tabao joints. Went for a recent work trip and was only free at about 8pm. Got info and map of top 5 recommended joints. Decided to walk since didn’t look far. Stayed at Formosa, started from number 1. Walked all the way looking for number 1-4 couldn’t see anything. Finally saw number 5, happy 8. Almost missed it. Girls left there not my cup of tea but with new confidence of how these joints look like on the outside proceeded to number 2, memory ktv. Found it this time, only 3 girls left but 1 suited my taste. And as advised by masters here, bargained, got my discount and left with girl. Got a free ride back to hotel also. I must say the owners are friendly and service orientated. Most probably it’s me that’s a little pah jiao but if any bros have any problem looking for these joints they are a little inconspicuous with gaudy 3,4 fluorescent green, pink, blue ceiling lights with a door only at shopfront
