Many years ago opposite the jeepney station was a hole-in-wall eatery. This was supposed to be the jeepney drivers canteen but the 3 cousins running it were entreprenuers. They knock down the rear wall and extended the dining area into the vacant field behind. As they were also fishermen trawling the waters off Subic..... there was always abundant seafood. The subic prawns are huge and fleshy. We always ordered them for supper grilled and down them with bottles of Red Horse...... cos thats the only brand of beer they sell
And the prices were damn dirt cheap too.
Sad to see that place gone now.
