I often look at one little thing,before deciding whether to pay top dollars in Batam (or not),i will 1st refer to SBF's FL Dome 3 - The World is Your Oyster sub-forum, for the available Indonesian girl's photograph,check out their pricing and then followed by if the photographs has any sign of being edited,hehehe...many were top notch looking Indonesian girls (in term of looks on photo) in it,mostly 8/10 or higher...but at what price? S$100 for 90mins and 2 shots,hehehe...
Then i look at girls in Batam and then their pricing. Was trying to set a balance tho,which is one of the reason why nearly all my girls dont go beyond 1 juta for overnight,hehehe...

I walked from Batam City Hotel to Windsor Tua Pek Kong on my 1st day in Batam (July trip). There seems to be major renovation at the temple tho.
The other Tua Pek Kong is at Tiban (i usually called it Tiban Tua Pek Kong).

Oh,what i am trying to say is, the temple brings some popular hawker food store owners to the temple to provide free food to temple visitors and worshipers (temples pays for it,anyone can go there to eat free...hehehe...). Last year,one of those hawker was that Botak Cun noodle store,hehehe...
Thats according to the temple-in-charge when i made a donation.

The best part is handful of newly built hotel and resort try to have some unique difference with other older hotels.
Setback is,in Batam,most newly built hotel for the 1st 6 months usually doesnt provide very good services due to their lack in manpower. They build the hotel,they didnt have the experience enough manpower numbers to run it.
The good is, everything is still new (the girls working in it too).
2 to 3 years later,price goes up and new things inside hotel start to deteriorate.
Those were my observation over the last few years in Batam.
