There were quite a number of times posted previously in the old HCM threads that some cheongsters wanted to save costs and stayed in those ulu ulu districts, but specially took taxi all the way to Ben Thanh just becos the rates there are slightly better
factor in the taxi costs already cost more than the so-called better rates liao unless they already wanted to tour around D1 at the same time but then this negates their original intentions to save costs by staying out of D1
