Last month I made a passport for one of my girls and brought her out with me, at Philippines immigration, the officer asked lots of questions, not willing to release her although she has a return ticket. They even photocopied my passport, asked me to sign a guaranteed letter and also asking me tons of questions too. After about 2 hours of questioning, luckily they agreed on her departure, though we almost miss the flight time.

I thought she will also have the nasty questioning at Singapore immigration, but to my surprise, Singapore officer just stamp on her passport without a single question.

I plan to bring another girl with me this month, does anyone have any suggestion how avoid Philippines immigration questioning?
Success or failure depends on the girls age, being prompt in replying, not fudging, and of course, in PH, you can go with her, unlike SG immigration - only one person allowed. And, I don't know - shoot me for saying this - dress doesn't matter a lot. Pinays dress sexy when going overseas - even old grandma and aunties - like showing off :P

The very young ones get screwed, and theories such as flying SQ will reduce questioning ? Tosh. Because immigration in Philippines have a quota to stop x number of people, as part of their 'anti human trafficking' campaign. Not sure why they go hard on their own country men but one thing I know, the US Govt pays PH for human trafficking prevention - so much so the PH BI even stops genuine workers going abroad, but lacking local agency - local agency fees not paid.

Another suggestion. Don't mention she's going to meet aunty or uncle. NExt question, where is the letter of invitation etc.

best, buy tickets for say 7 days return. Of course, once landed SG will most likely give 30 day, so no need to worry about going back in 7 days.

And of course, for SG side, make sure she has enough cash, plus a copy of your IC, in case immigration asks who will take care of her. And address etc in white card, yours.

And if she say she is tourist, and do that a few month ago, it can raise question. Direct, visiting with friend
