look at the background of the picture and see if its brighter than usual, it helps u get a sense of how much brighter the photo has been adjusted.
Also, the house/room is usually dim/dark, so obviously the lady will look darker also... if you turn on the ceiling light you'll have a better view
, but sometimes the light is yellowish color which makes the skin look darker also.
This is something OKT should take note actually, use white lights instead of yellow lights
