Similiar sentiments. He has asked same questions in other baht thread too. Quite a few well meaning bros have responded with advice, tips etc.
Mobbed? C'mon, bkk is easy intro to nightlife with no real safety issues (tourist trade speaks for itself). Compared with some spots in Manila... bkk's a cinch. His phood thai is a big plus (besides his reserve or safety net from parents...)
His breaching of RA restrictions is not the problem.. with his testerone urges and youthful gung ho attitude. Think too much info can even confuse him. So he shd not spread himself too thin. Target instead of trying to do so much in short time of window period.
Best, if he has some more experienced friends or contacts to guide him (handholding bit) than merely picking bits here and there. The latter may even risk misleading him -do more harm than good.
