[QUOTE=newyorker88;20554065]Covid in Indonesia is still rampant. Doubt singapore gov will open up anytime soon, regardless what Indo gov says, perhaps 90% of locals here vaccinated, which is quite impossible figure to get. When they open vaccinations to those 45 n above, I read that only 55% of those above 60 got vaccinated only, which is to say many of the older ones refuse to take. To achieve 90% population? U figure
Basically there is no tangible benefit for getting vaccinated early, those who are still vaccinated still can't travel for leisure, still subject to SHN and various Covid tests requirement, no different from people without vaccinated even though technically a person is already immune to the virus after 2 weeks of getting 2nd dose vaccine. So i doubt Singapore can achieve over 70% of population getting vaccinated. Anyway fatality rate of Covid is very low in Singapore, only 29 so far, less than people die of Dengue Fever here. Unless the government come out with policy that thise who are vaccinated can travel freely without quarantine and multiple Covid test requirement, otherwise Singaporean are not eager to get themselves vaccinated.
