I know a mummy quite well. During the first two weeks of re-opening, they really made like crazy. Mummy got commission from the alcohol too. She does 3 sessions a day by arranging remotely for customers the room and prepare the girls through phone. She turns up towards the end of session 1 and stay a bit for session 3 so that she can straddle all 3 sessions.
That 1st two weeks, on a normal day, session 1 will have 3-4 rooms, session 2 can have around 10-15 rooms, session 3 another 5-6 rooms. On average she gets almost 20 rooms a day, that's $2K tips. Another $1.5K commission. SO two weeks she made like almost $50K.
But she said the craze died down already. A lot of customers complaining because they not enough girls to go around. Between some of the ktvs, they even share the girls because not enough supply.
KTV not so worth like before already. The girls quality also a bit sian. The girls all like very stuck up. Maybe all earning too much already
