You might want to look at those Vietbus, PRCs working in Malaysia doing visa runs via LOS.
Whilst the majority of them do it at the Sadao crossing and stay in Hatyai / Danok for 1-2 weeks before returning to Malaysia...... those working further south in JB or SG pefer to fly to BKK and spend their week there or Pattaya before fyling back to Changi or KLIA.
