I think that you're generally right about Resort. I've had many very pleasant nights at the Resort BUT do be careful my brothers.
The last time that me and my friends (from Malaysia) were there, we got picked on by a group of 12 locals (there were 6 of us) leaving one guy with a black eye, one with a split eyebrow (8 stitches and lots of blood) and a couple of torn shirts. Lucky that I only broke my watch. In the end, nothing too serious, but upset that a very fun night turned unpleasant.
We think that the thai chaps just wanted to leave without paying .......
