Yes the pricing of budget airlines is quite volatile.
Tiger Airways is the worst besides Air Asia. Frankly I hate the immigration/customs people more than airline staff because they always want to tax 7% GST on my cargos. Bastards! Nevermind there's a way to counter this. I just show them Stark Industries HK Limited invoice. Haha.
