My verdict from visiting batam over the weekend : Can give this place a miss from my ''cheonging places'' in years to come. Prices there is going way north since my last visit years ago. For a HJ in massage parlor, they asking for $50/- sing dollars. For a over night booking, the OKT charge $130/-, again sing dollars. WTF .... I thought to myself might as well cheong in Geyland. Not need to go all the way there. The place is also quieter than years before and many empty shops than before. Change destination to balai or batu then, batam and bintan is a no-no for me from now on. Maybe they see us not local then ''chop carrot''....
