Even marrying Singaporean man doesn't ensure that the Viet gals can stay. I have come across a singaporean man who is jobless. He is not officially employed. The viet gal he met at JC thought that she can continue to stay in Singapore as long as she marries a Singaporean. The couple ROM with ease but met with great difficulty when the singaporean man was trying to apply for LTSVP. The immigration officer asked for his employment letter and he couldn't produce. There she goes..... all the way back to Vietnam. Plan foiled and the lady filed for divorce 1 month after marrying that singaporean man. Not long after, that Singaporean man saw his `wife' with another singaporean man at JC again.
