anyway, the $160 you spent is because you 'bao' or book the car ma....there is a cheaper alternative by taking the bus (not those lao kok kok 40 seaters) but the 15 seaters Mercedes Vito converted bus...per person is around 15-20 dollars i think...
as to your questions on whether to marry her, i would say from your posts you are not ready yet bro....i feel la...if not you will not be asking bros here...
when i was about to marry my wife, i borrow around 10k just for her to settle her house payments and paid back monthly after that(think i mentioned somewhere b4 liao la)..all these without her asking me...and in turn i asked nobody....why i did it i dunno....but something inside me tells me that she is not out to 'blur'(using your term) me... i was right!
of course, you have to take into account the after marriage expenses...like i always say and bro singviet also adviced...talk to her about her expectations after marriage.. let her know how much you earn, what expenses you have here in SG and tell her you cannot provide for her whole family...they have to earn their keep! but you dun mind sending back money once in a while but strictly to her parents for household expenses...things like new motor, hi-fi, are out of question.....
over and above all, tell her what marriage means to you and ask her what it means to her....TALK, COMMUNICATE! its between you and her...no bros here will know her better than yourself...you get the idea???
