NNKC!! I was there with my wife as well...i sat just beside the viet fans!! knn ...'hot zone'.....the line of security officers and Cisco officers also no use...'missiles' just fly from both side of fans.......
After match got big fight inside and outside stadium lei....i was waiting outside the toilet for my wife when the viet fans came down singing loudly....they started taunting some group of malay young guys who looks like they were waiting for things to happen - not very wise considering that you are in a foreign land...i know i wouldn't do that in Vietnam - and the malay guys taunt back....then someone from behind the malay guys threw one plastic bag full of rice towards the viet group...the viet group started moving aggressively towards them...The guy nearest to one of the viet guy had enough and swung his plastic bag full of packet drinks into the face of one viet one guy!!!

A free for all ensued for about 5 mins...knn!! all this while i standing beside the action...i quickly grab my daughter and stepped into the girls toilet!!!

( but i held the door open la...so all could see why i step in..anyway the girls in toilet also dun dare come out when they saw the fight outside.... it was only stopped when two Cisco rushed into the middle and drew their batons!! all retreated....
Well, i think its certainly Cisco not enough for there were numerous small spates of fighting going on!! Knn, dunno who threw one bottle hit my car and dented a bit of my bonnet!! NNKC!! At the carpark many more fight were ongoing...with many wrestled down and arrested by Cisco officers..I think there were as many Viets arrested as locals.then started the most interesting thing i thought only hooligans in Europe will do....
Some SGP fans started burning the Vietnamese Flags which they had picked up while dropped during the meele..knn sibei xia sway lor!! Make us Singaporeans look like sore losers...
So i certainly think the Viets have the right to celebrate but not as if they are in HCMC la...asking for trouble only especially from the malay punks spoiling for a fight!!
Well, after that, many viet supporters dare not leave the protected area that was created by a ring of Cisco police around them. Cos many SGP hooligan fans were waiting at the carpark area for the Viet fans to come down(cos they hve to pass by the carpark area to cross the road to the MRT)...haha!! wondered what time they reached home...
Sorry a bit off topic but since there was report about celebration of Vietnam's victory in HCMC, i thought i will just contribute the Vietnamese supporters' actions and their subsequent consequences in Singpapore!
Cheers!
