service providers
VNPT (Vietnam Post and Telecommunications, the old Gov't Monopoly) has a service called MEGAVNN, distributed in HCM through
CONG TY TIN HOC BUU DIEN - NETSOFT
Viettel, the army telco company
VIETTEL - Services
FPT - highly recommended, usually better service and less censorship than the others:
ADSL FPT
Maybe there are some local providers I don't know about, but anyway, I'd go for FPT.
Used laptop, very good. If she's a very good ger, she'll be happy, and then she's truly a keeper

if she's looking for money and things, she'll ask for a new one...I've been through this a couple of times
For Monitoring: I have used eBlaster from
Computer and Internet Monitoring Software myself, I think it's the Rolls Royce of Monitoring SW, but there are other options also.
If you don't install anti-spyware, the notebook will quickly become unusable, vietnamese girls tend to download and install all kinds of stuff, including viruses and troians, so make sure you install up-to-date anti-spyware on the notebook before you give it to the girl, check if it can detect your monitoring software, if it can, add it to an "allowed" list in the anti-spyware software.
You may also want to install some kind of remote control or remote desktop sw, like
www.logmein.com (I use the free version). That way you can take control of her notebook whenever she has fucked up something, or if you need to install something to monitor, you can do it remotely.
I wish you all the best with your ger
