i agree with you its hard to talk to maids at lucky plaza. i find it extrememly difficult... no 1 you need to find a decent looking maid hopefully she must be alone and there should not be many prying eyes so that you can approach her. and if she rejects you the search starts all over again.
but bro angmoh its fun. i have done it before and ended up collecting several numbers in a day.... just visit different floors (levels) say hi and ask for numbers. of course i wont deny i have been rejected too. but success will be yours....
and when i found sundays difficult for me i even went there on weekdays.... and i have been successful.... so think out of the box like our pap says and you will be prosperous.... so you see its not just sundays... many maids are off on saturdays too.... and there are quite a few who visit lucky plaza on weekdays to run errands.... several ways to get lucky bro ang moh....
yeah i have met hookers too and that was annoying... but they charged me $80 and i did not take it up especially when i can get it for FREE.
Bro ang moh you are right.... the best place to hit them is on the street. usually higher chance on sundays... and still a chance albeit lower on other days of the week...
Let me suggest some places where i have found maids:
1) sunset way
2) bukit timah
3) upper bukit timah
4) holland
no time to list all.. but suffice to say there are plenty of places. dun go there to look for them specifically. you may end up disappointed. if you are passing by spend some time on the street and you may be lucky...

firstly they are not alone, it is not easy to go talk to them when they r several and secondly its hard to see if they r hookers or only maids; who will pay 150SGD for them ahah
