Thailand's never been colonised (unlike most of these parts). Not only culturally different, but also mindset. Like some khun thais tell me, many varied opinions from everybody but no galvanising or strong political mandate (outside the monarchy). And now worse off with big divide between the
phrai (common folk) and
amataya (elitists).
Uniquely thailand, but who are we to judge?
