22 July, 2010 - American found dead
ANGELES CITY -- An American Air Force retiree and four Filipinos were found shot to death inside their home.
City police chief Danilo Bautista said the bodies of Albert Mitchell, his wife, and three others were found with gunshot wounds inside Mitchell's home in Hensonville Court, Subdivision of Angeles City.
The couple owns a nightspot in Field Avenue and the 3 dead filipinos were employees from that club.
22 July, 2010 - Man arrested for gun toting
ANGELES CITY -- A 22-YEAR-OLD man was arrested after being suspected of illegal possession of firearms inside a karaoke bar situated at the Nepo Mart 2 here.
Senior Superintendent Danilo Bautista, city police chief, identified the suspect as Abdul Rahim, 22, single, of Bedok North Street 2, Singapore.
21 July, 2010 - Japanese nabbed for drugs, mauling
ANGELES CITY -- A Japanese national accused of physical injuries was charged with another case of illegal possession of prohibited drugs after policemen interrogating him discovered a sachet of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) in his pocket.
Police Station 4 chief Luisito Tan said that Ebisawa Haruo, 65, who is staying at Tiger Hotel, allegedly beat his fellow Japanese named Shinja Omata, 52, inside a convenience store at Teodoro Street.
Isn't that place just off Perimeter Road?
20 July, 2010 - British found dead
ANGELES CITY -- James Bolton Porter, 51, a British national and his live-in partner, a certain Mellisa Madarang, 22, were found dead in their rented apartment at Sta. Maria Subdivision, Barangay Balibago, this city.
Porter and his live-in partner were found sprawled on the floor and both sustained injuries in different parts of their body.
Mr. Porter was a partner of The Devil's Hangout club located in A Santos Road while Ms. Madarang was a dancer there.
A Santos Road? It's just across the Royal Asterdam Hotel.
22 July, 2010 - Australian charged with 3 separate criminal cases
ANGELES CITY -- An Australian national was recently charged by the city police for robbery, grave slander, and alarms and scandal after he allegedly harassed an American lawyer along the entertainment district of Fields Avenue in Barangay Balibago here.
Police identified the foreigner as Edward John MC Allec, single, Australian, staying at Diamond Apartelle. He is suspected of running a protection racket of the nightspots in the area.
Wow... dint know Australia got mafia.
22 July, 2010 - Police arrest 3 in Korean slay case
Angeles City -- Police on Saturday arrested three persons involved in the killing of a Korean national in Angeles City early this month.
Danilo Paredes, James Mina, and Frellie Cabunos, who were tagged as the killers of Kang Ha Yong, were apprehended by joint elements of the Angeles City police and town police in an apartment at Green Meadows Subdivision, Barangay Mabiga.
Kang Ha Yong was shot dead in front of the Arirang Hotel along the Friendship Avenue, Barangay Anunas in Angeles City.
Is AC really so lawless macam a wild west cowboy town?
