Bangkok Hotel is good for stay. In my opinion I was happy with the reception and the rooms.Except if you are using a Smart sim, then request for rooms with Smart network. Very important for communications. The layout when I used to be a regular 2 years ago was good. Bed is BIG but watch for the wooden extension of the bed that you may accidentally kick. Also i took the standard rooms and its crammed but fine with me. They practise calling you before you get visitors or your visitor leaves. Just to get your clearance.
My knowledge of hotels are limited cos I usually like to stay at one and don change.I am sure there are others who can give you better feedback. But luckily you asked me on a hotel I am familiar with.
I chose to visit Subic this trip cos Dreamland Resort is having a super offer for me this period. Also there is a movement of resources from AC to Subic and I followed. Splash Bar besides Candy Bar has closed and all girls are now in Angelwitch Subic.
Usually from AC i take the Olangapo bus from Dau terminal but those with the budget can take a hassel free ride from Brass Knob at 9am. Drink prices are about 75p and 140p (Customer drink and Lady drink). Barfines are about 1500p. Not as many bars but cosy.
