Going ktv alone is not that awkard just heavy on pocket. If the gals are doing their job, they keep u entertained. Or drinking is not your type then you can choose to sit at the hall, I remember I pay rmb 100, pick the gals and leave. U can tips the mummy 100 to 200 but my local contact say no need so I paid 100 for the table min charge.
For some reason I feel safer getting girls from ktv because we know their work place anything still can track them down. Most of the times I leave my phone, cash lying around when in hotel with the girl but this is not adviseable. Never know when will be the unlucky day but lazy ass like me really can't be bother but passport is always in the safe. Anything else is secondary.
Service wise from the ktv girls IMO is more gf feeling type because if u drink and talk cock before the real action at least not so commerical as compared to straight to action. If have time and budget allows, I recommend ktv but if u want just to unload, then go otherwise to have value for $.
