Have read and know SBF for many years but never joined until today and made my maiden post. However, have deliberated very long on whether to post to this thread and finally to do so.
I took the time to read most of this thread and it really hits me in many ways with various memories. Was esp shocked by bro Jackie Chan (0401) as his initials brings back memories....
Summary:
1.) For all newbies to HFJ, the truth is STAY AWAY (unless u really have cash to blow...n I mean heaps....like say 100k over 6 months and even then.....sigh)
2) High end KTV cheongsters....beware....the allure of HFJ and your pride developed over the "service" in KTV because of your spending power and repute will cause you to "suffer" even faster
3) The more beautiful the singer (and nowadays the better the vocals) = more likely the girl = STAY AWAY..
4) In nearly all cases, avoid hanging big to impress as its a spiral circle with your pride leading the way
5) Your real chance of surviving is being yourself and hanging small amounts. Your whatever amounts hanged will not get you far.
a. You hang big = you are $ tree = love of your $ not you
b. You hang big, there will always be others who will also hang big(ger) =
your girl will still be tempted daily
c. The girl who needs loads of Cash will always need more
6) Never leave your number with singer "mummy". They will tempt you to return when your girl goes back. And unfortuately, you will be tempted...
