And in a bar, I saw a girl dumping her "BF/Lover" Bill into my cup .. when she was out of sight, I looked at the bill and it was not mine ..
And I waited till the cheapskate cano leave, and then called for my bill .. and then told "I never drank any of these ?? " ..
And the tip of the day, if you suspect somebody is palming off somebody else' bill, to you (pinay in love will do such stuff to save her lover some $ .. and more .. ) .. go to the same bar, and if you have your 'target in sight' when target is drinking SML, and the 'switched' bill comes to your cup, you order Screwdriver .. and when the bill comes, loudly ask "I never drank SML .. are you guys cheating or what ?? "and make enough noise ..
And see the reaction .. priceless .. I did it once, and the culprit was staring at me and I said loudly "DJ, stop the music, what kind of place is this cheating me .. and yesterday too I realised that there was drinks I never order .. in my bill .. "
sometimes you need to teach these girls to be firm and not let a cano get away with manipulating the girls .. and teaching the girls that it is ok to charge A's bill to B .. even though A and B dunno each other, but they just smiled .. and nothing more ..
PS: even in Singapore, I have seen enough cheapskate charlies, telling the waitress to 'charge to my friend' when the friend is not a friend, just a guy sharing the table ..
And by the time the 'friend' realises he has been had .. the cheapskate charlies has vanished .. and the bar doesn' think any smarter as when two guys sharing table, they assume they know each other ..
So, if you see me in bar, not smiling, forgive me ..
And I have also seen some cheapskate cano pass his girl's LD Drink to another innocent chap .. man .. and in Philippines, there are enough cheapskate canos' living on their pension of 1,000 $ a month, and if they can skive off a couple of drinks off somebody, they will do it ..
