Re: Tieng Viet lovers club

Please take note. Safety first

Foreigners ignore traffic law
================================================== =
VietNamNet Bridge – Taking abuse of the language barrier, many foreigners do not wear helmets while riding motorbikes in Hanoi streets.

It is popular to see foreign motorists without helmets in Hanoi’s old quarter, where streets are small and traffic police rarely patrol.

Some foreigners can speak Vietnamese very well but they pretend to not understand Vietnamese when they see traffic police officers.

Some foreigners don’t wear helmets on “xe om” (motorbike taxi) because helmets provided by xe om drivers are dirty.
