Usually, when a woman reaches 45 years of age, they will not be employed in massage. They will go back to kampong.
Many young ones who come are those who wish to make some money, having heard batam is a "outsider infested place". There are few who kena fired from factory, no choice end up in massage places.
Hari Raya is the time they go back, either for good or for visiting relatives. Many have their own children in their kampong.
So, the rule in town is NOT EVERY WOMAN IS FOR SALE. There are some who are, some who are not, find them at the right places.
