Bro I was taught by my sifu the first day I went into a HFJ - it was those days when DC was still at Kallang - "A LIE told over many times becomes the TRUTH". Thus do not just "hear", you must learn to have feelers, feeders in the joints as well as strong discerning ability to dotting the [i] and cross the [t].
Its good to have a reputation but it will be better if you have a good storyline even if you are a nobody.
Its like the pipe piper's story.
Some ghosts learn through experience, some ghosts have the intelligence but if a ghost has both assets; you are doomed if you are not discerning.
