The reason for the closure was because the Dollhouse rep had failed to attend a court hearing against them. This court hearing has nothing to do with the raids but was an earlier case in 2009 whereby a Swedish national was assaulted by the club's staff.
According to the court documents, the Swede was inside the Dollhouse bar having some drinks. When the bill was presented to him, he noticed that it was padded with drinks that he had never consumed nor bought for anyone else so he refused to pay up. As he attempted to leave the club, he was set upon by the club's staff. Money was forcibly removed from him and he sustained a fractured nose, severe bruises to the midsection and right thigh, laceration along the left forearm.
Bros better cultivate the habit of paying for your drinks when they are served.
